Owner and President of The House Company. Carolyn has been in the real estate business since 1980. She is past President of the Galveston Association of Realtors and was chosen Realtor of the Year in 1999. She has assembled a team of professional, caring Realtors who go the extra mile for their clients and customers as well as the community. Carolyn is also the past president of the Galveston Historical Foundation, the Chamber of Commerce and The Junior League of Galveston County. She has served as a director on the Texas Association of Realtors Board and was the TREPAC Trustee for Region 10, a three county area.

Sandy Bastien has been a successful real estate agent since 1999. She has received numerous awards for her accomplishments and has been a million dollar plus agent. Sandy is a member of both Galveston Association of Realtors and Houston Association of Realtors. Sandy was born and raised in Galveston and knows the market of the Island. She is very knowledgeable of what Sellers expect when listing their biggest asset "their home" and listens very carefully to Buyers in order to find "their perfect home".

David Bowers is a licensed Texas attorney and a Texas Realtor. His childhood was spent in Kansas and later he graduated from high school in Vermont. He graduated from college and law school in Kansas and moved to Houston in 1978 to join Stewart Title Company. He managed their downtown commercial closing office until 1989 when he got into real estate brokerage and moved to Galveston. David chaired the Galveston Multiple Listing Committee for two years and is the 2010 President of the Galveston Association of Realtors and a Texas Association of Realtors Director. He holds the "Green" designation by National Association of Realtors. David has served on various City boards and served on the Galveston City Council (1994-2000) and the Galveston Wharves Board (1998-2000). He was on the Wharves Board that brought back the cruise ship industry to Galveston. David is a member of the Galveston Rotary Club and a big brother in the Galveston Big Brother, Big Sister program. Historic Preservation is a passion for David and he currently is President of the Galveston Historical Foundation. David received the Distinguished Volunteer Service Award from GHF and has restored older homes and a corner store. Two homes have been on the GHF Annual Homes Tour and the store was featured in an exhibit in the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. David rode out Hurricane Ike (2008) in his 1899 Victorian home and served on the Ike Recovery Committee.

Jill has always been active in her community as a volunteer and has over 30 years experience working in sales and customer service. She speaks conversational Spanish and feels her knowledge of other customs, traditions and cultures is a true asset in selling real estate on Galveston Island. Living in several cities, she has built, remodeled and sold numerous homes, always keeping an eye on market trends. She is a member of both Houston and Galveston Boards of Realtors.

Jay has been servicing residential and commercial real estate needs in Galveston since 1973. He is a past president of the Galveston Association of Realtors (GAR), twice chairman of the Galveston Multiple Listing Service (MLS), and served several years on the board of directors. From 1988 to 1992, he also served as a VA appraiser for Galveston County. Jay is a native Galvestonian (BOI), attended the University of Texas at Austin and served with the US Army in Vietnam.

Edie, a native Galvestonian and Southern Methodist University graduate, has been licensed for a number of years and has worked in real estate in both Dallas and Houston before coming back to the Island. In Galveston, Edie taught first grade for several years before joining her mother, the Broker of The House Company. Until her two children were in elementary school, Edie worked part-time as the bookkeeper/office manager. In 2001, Edie joined the terrific House Company sales team and currently works with both buyers and sellers. Her knowledge, skill, and experience keeps her clients informed and comfortable throughout their real estate transaction. Edie attends Moody Methodist Church and is a member of the Communication Committee. She is an active volunteer at Trinity Episcopal School and former TES Board member, as well as former Jr. League of Galveston County Treasurer. After Hurricane Ike, Edie was asked to join the Salvation Army Advisory Board. She has been a member of both Galveston Association of REALTORS® and Houston Association of REALTORS® since joining the sales team, as well as Texas Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. Currently, Edie sits on the Galveston Board of REALTORS® as a Director. Edie believes learning never ends and continues to attend classes, webinars, and state and local conventions.
Cathy Maples has been a Texas Real Estate Broker selling Galveston real estate since 1975. She has been with The House Company since 1987 with sales involving residential, commercial & resort property, which have included many return customers over the years. She is a member of The Texas Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors & Galveston Association of Realtors. For many years she has been a volunteer with the Galveston Meals on Wheels program serving on the Advisory Board, Secretary for 6 years, and serving on several committees including the annual golf tournament. She is a member of the UTMB Ollie group, takes continuing Yoga classes and keeps abreast of all civic & community activities.

Following a successful maritime career, Capt. Gordon Robinson became a licensed Texas Realtor in 1988. A million dollar producer, Gordon specializes in residential and resort sales on Galveston Island with emphasis on historical properties. He has earned the GRI, ABR and Green Realtor designations. Gordon was President of the Galveston Association of Realtors in 1999. GAR’s finances were in the red when he took office, but were in the black before his term ended and remain so now. Named Realtor of the Year in 2000, he was a GAR Director from 1998 through 2003 and was chairman of the Galveston MLS from 2001 through 2003. He has served as Chaplain of GAR for many years. Gordon is also active at the state level with the Texas Association of Realtors. He has attended the TAR Conventions and the Mid-Winter meetings for many years. He has also attended many National Association of Realtors meetings over the years. He represented Region 10 on the TAR Nominating Committee in 2005 and 2006. In 2007 and 2008 he served on the TAR Insurance Task Force, the only Task Force member from the coastal tier, which extends from Orange to Brownsville. He is currently serving on the Regulatory Subcommittee of the Public Policy Committee and on the Members Benefit Committee. He has been appointed to serve again on both committees in 2010. It was Gordon who conceived the idea for the “I Am a Texas Realtor” specialty automobile license plate. The state charges a fee of $30 annually for the plate and $22 of that fee is paid to TAR for their Housing Opportunity Foundation. As of October 31, 2009, that affordable housing program has received a total of $51,524. A life-long Presbyterian, Gordon has served his church many years as Deacon, Elder and Trustee. He is President of the Board of the Seafarers Center of Galveston and is past-Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine Patient Advisory Board at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Gordon is a member of the President’s Cabinet at UTMB. An active Rotarian, he is a Paul Harris Fellow. He is a member of the Galveston Alliance of Island Neighborhoods and a supporting member of the Galveston Symphony Society. He is also a long-time member of the Sunday Morning Coffee Club.

Albert "Sonny" Vaiani III, born and raised on Galveston Island, returned to the Island after a long, successful military career and settled in a historic island home. He served as an aero medical pilot and community liaison with Memorial Hermann Life Flight for 16 years. Sonny graduated from Ball High School, earned a B.S. degree in Psychology, received his M.A. from Webster University in Psychology/Human Relations, and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He earned his Real Estate License in 2005 and activated this license in 2007 upon joining The House Company. He serves as the Program Chair for the Galveston Association of Realtors. He has served as an appointed member of the Governor’s EMS and Trauma Advisory Council’s (GETAC) Air Medical Committee and a FAA Aviation Safety Counselor. Currently he is serving on the Galveston Airport Advisory Committee, and is a site surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems. He is a member of Sacred Heart Church, Sunday Morning Coffee Club, Knights of Columbus, Galveston Historical Foundation, Propeller Club and the Lone Star Flight Museum/Texas Aviation Hall of Fame. He is a member and serves on the Board of Directors for the ROTARY Club of Galveston and is President of the Galveston Island Humane Society Board of Directors. His sense of mission and attention to detail cultivated in the military and aviation are recognizable in his dedication to his clients in both residential and commercial real estate. He has completed the Accredited Buyer's Representative "ABR" designation requirements and holds the Graduate Realtor Institute “GRI", Resort and Second Home Specialist "RSPS" and "GREEN" designations by National Association of Realtors.

Sherry Villere holds a BBA in Business Administration from Lamar University and had been a licensed Real Estate Broker in the 1980's, prior to taking an extended leave to raise her family. She has been actively involved in property management in Houston and Galveston for over 33 years, returning to full-time sales in 2002. She has received the CRS® (Council of Residential Specialists), ABR® (Accredited Buyer Representative) and GRI® (Graduate Realtor Institute) professional designations and is a member of both the Galveston and Houston Associations of Realtors, as well as their respective Multiple Listing Services(MLS). She served as Secretary of the Galveston Association of Realtors Board of Directors from 2005-2007. She is a member of the Women's Council of Realtors and their extensive referral network throughout the USA. Sherry is also a member of the Galveston Chamber of Commerce and has served on several Boards of Directors in the Galveston and Houston communities, including Associated Catholic Charities in Houston and the Seafarers Center in Galveston. She is past Area Representative for Christian Women's Club; also, for many years she has assisted with local charity fund raising for Catholic Charities, Seafarers Center and others. Her special interests, besides her work, family and community, are sewing, vegetable gardening and her animals.
